Designer Inspired: Lisa Mende

Designer Q&A Articles Grays/Blacks green Kitchen Outdoor

It's time for our sixth featured designer in our Designer Inspired Series of pink ribbon welcome mats exclusive to Carpet One Floor & Home. We've hit the halfway mark but there are still six more amazing designer inspirations to come. Remember, there are 12 designs so we'll be featuring one designer and their inspiration each month. This month we're taking a closer look at the welcome mat design from Lisa Mende of Lisa Mende Design.

Her green and gray graphic design represents “Steel Magnolia” which relates to her southern heritage. After seeing loved ones battle breast cancer she can attest to the strength it takes to fight this disease. Being a “Steel Magnolia” is a requirement for women who are fighting cancer and Lisa's mat design represents the strength and beauty of the women who fight this disease every day. "The inner strength gets us through trying times," comments Mende.
